Chartering a superyacht with a cinema and 12-metre pool just got easier

It’s easy to get lost in the extensive offerings in the world of superyachts, but if you’re looking to leave a real impression on your guests or clientele, Flying Fox is the answer.

Built in 2019 by Lürssen Yachts in Germany, it currently holds the record as the world’s largest charter vessel at a staggering 136 metres in length. Two helipads are just the beginning for this floating estate featuring awe-inspiring exterior lines by award-winning designer Espen Oeino and equally lavish interior spaces designed by Mark Berryman.

The expansive Flying Fox can cruise with up to 36 guests on board. In night mode, the superyacht offers 11 cabins for 25 sleeping guests, each one boasting private sea view terraces. Additional accommodation for up to 54 staff can also be arranged on request in order to provide guests with a meticulous level of service to match the facilities.

Pinnacle of luxury at sea

As the purest expression of unwavering luxury on the seas, Flying Fox can lay claim to some of the most impressive appointments to ever grace a vessel. One highlight is a 12-metre swimming pool that traverses the main deck – a first for a superyacht of this size, making it truly innovative.

Another is a cinema located on the same deck, complete with immersive D-box seats that move in sync with the film alongside state-of-the-art surround sound. Once the movie is over, guests can proceed to their VIP ensuite cabins via spiral staircase or elevator. For pampering needs there’s a two-floor salon, and a wood fireplace is flanked by a 22-seat dining table.

On the private deck there are just as many extravagant amenities to indulge in. Main guests have their own master area on the upper deck forward and it’s a space specifically designed to marry professional and personal life with efficiency. There’s a private cinema screen outside on the aft deck along with a salon, wood fireplace and conference room.

There’s also a private office, bathrooms, dressing rooms and a stunning master stateroom with ensuite, private salon and trees, with a wood fireplace and bay window opening to the private Jacuzzi. There’s also a beauty centre within this private area to provide the ultimate experience of privacy and relaxation.

Heading to the roof deck will give guests access to a panoramic exterior salon enhanced by natural light. If endless relaxation doesn’t pique their interest, guests can opt to shop at the onboard dive store, which stocks the finest diving materials on the market alongside qualified, experienced instructors to help guests take full advantage of their private snorkelling spot.

Thrill seekers can embark on their own adventures with water toys such as Sea Doo jet skis and even the latest Zapata flyboard and overboard, which allows users to float above the water via water jet propulsion. For something a little more subtle there are nine tenders including a highly luxury custom 12.5-metre enclosed limo tender, 11-metre luxury open limo tender, 9-metre beach-landing craft or a powerful 8.5-metre Super Air Nautique Coastal (the latter will make accessing private hidden beaches a breeze). For the health conscious there’s a full suite of options available, from cryosauna to massage rooms and gyms.

Unrivalled dining experience

Guests can enjoy five-star hospitality during their stay on Flying Fox thanks to the on-board availability of highly skilled chefs and their extensive Michelin-star restaurant knowledge. Any region of cuisine is possible through the kitchen and for something with a bit more show, there’s everything from a teppanyaki grill to a rotisserie oven, BBQ, spit roast or tandoori oven.

Flying Fox can now be chartered from €3,500,000 per week via Imperial.
