AMELS’ grandest superyacht is like a boutique hotel at sea
Having recently stunned guests at the Monaco Yacht Show, HERE COMES THE SUN will make her second boat show debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) this month.
Boasting a grand central staircase, elevator, two galleys, state-of-the-art cinema and gaming room, swimming pool, jacuzzi, waterslide, and a large Beach Club, this superyacht is like a floating luxury hotel.
Spanning six decks and nine sumptuous suites serviced by 26 crew, AMELS’ flagship 83-metre superyacht has clocked a massive 42,000 nautical miles since her delivery in 2017.
After leaving the AMELS shipyard in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, she has visited more than 20 destinations all the way from Brazil to Alaska – cementing her status as an ocean-going performer.
As AMELS’ largest yacht and the first AMELS 272 from the yard’s highly successful Limited Editions range, HERE COME THE SUN was designed with a focus on uninterrupted service, luxury hospitality and family enjoyment.
With a gross tonnage of 2,877, she comes fitted with high ceilings and an abundance of luxurious indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for entertaining. Her nine beautifully appointed suites sleep up to 18 in private use and 12 during charter.
Her spacious custom interiors, expertly crafted by Winch Design, are reminiscent of a contemporary beach villa, while her bold colour scheme was developed together with the owners and exterior designer Tim Heywood.
HERE COMES THE SUN’s renowned AMELS naval architecture ensures outstanding seakeeping and manoeuverability with the highest comfort.
"She is a wonderful example of owners stepping up to larger yachts within the AMELS Limited Editions family of yachts," explains Rob Luijendijk, Director Sales, AMELS and DAMEN.
"She has proven herself a true ocean-going adventurer and continues to be very successful on the charter market."
HERE COMES THE SUN will be joined at FLIBS 2019 (30 October – 3 November) by the 46-metre DAMEN Yacht Support JOY RIDER.
