Chanel to Dior: The luxury brands sharing insightful podcasts
Podcasts are what blogs were at the turn of the millennium. With more than 155 million people tuning into a podcast every week, their rising popularity is evident – and high-end brands are jumping onboard with luxury podcasts.
From Dior to Gucci, fashion fiends can get their fix of designer news easier than ever before.
While the concept of isn’t new, luxury podcasts offer a deeper connection between the brand and the listener while reaching an enormous amount of people.
"Podcasts tell a longer more intimate story and … have the ability to connect with guests on a very personal level," Kate Oldham, the Senior Vice President and General Manager of beauty, jewellery and home at Saks, told Business of Fashion.
Chanel was one of the earliest pioneers for the luxury industry when it launched its 3.55 CHANEL podcast in 2017, while Dior is one of the latest to join the trend.
Spotlighting creative employees, brand ambassadors and establishing their own narrative with their audience, the plethora of luxury podcasts are seemingly endless.
