3 surprising things you don’t know about Maritimo

As thousands of boat aficionados gathered at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Maritimo stunned with its innovative designs.

One of Australia’s leading motor-yacht manufacturers unveiled major updates to several models within its M-Series flybridge range at the annual show.

The latest varieties of the M59 and M51 flybridge motor yachts cloaked in significant exterior refinements including panoramic hull-side window profiles, lighting packages, updated material palettes and purposeful styling elements to enhance overall form.

A sport dashboard design unveiling the extent of the helm will also be included on every Maritimo model.

"Benefiting from the integrated panoramic hull-side windows are the master cabins within each vessel, which have been completely transformed by the injection of light and surrounding vistas," Maritimo lead designer Tom Barry-Cotter says.

All models within the M-Series line will undergo several design refinements throughout 2019.

"Maritimo has been slowly increasing investment in design and R&D in recent years as part of a long-term growth strategy," Maritimo General Operations Manager Phil Candler says. "The expanding design and R&D division have been key in entering new markets, increasing sales and lengthening product life cycles.

"The Maritimo on-water brand experience at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show reflects the brand’s recent design ideology with all boats on display having either premiered or undergone design enhancements within the past year."

During the four-day marine-filled event, held at the Gold Coast, Queensland, boasting more than 500 watercraft, the revolutionary X60 and X50 made their world debuts – offering boat enthusiasts an exclusive glimpse of the luxury range.
