Boutique brewery debuts bespoke beer in time for summer
There’s nothing better than nipping down to the beach on a hot summer evening after a gruelling day of work to feel the white sand between your toes and fresh saltwater splash your skin. Or is there?
Endeavour Brewing Co goes one better. The Australian brewer has launched a crisp Citrus Pale Ale just in time to quench some seasonal thirst.
The refreshing drop is the first of its beer in a can where the signature pale ale is given a zesty fusion with bursts of tangerine and blood orange – perfect for cooling off under the sun.
"It’s an incredibly sessionable beer that has a little blood orange sweetness that’s wonderfully balanced by the tangerine bitterness," Endeavour Brewing Co founder Ben Kooyman says. "The citrus tones work in harmony with our pale ale and we think our discerning customers will enjoy the unique flavour combination."
The boutique brewery, based in Sydney’s iconic Rocks, pushed the boundaries with its new lager until it unearthed the best Mother Nature has to offer.

Sweet hints of blood orange and tangy tangerine create a fresh experience on your palate bursting with a slight touch of bitterness from the hops.
"It’s quick to cool in an esky and it stays fresher for longer, so it’s the perfect lighter beer to take to picnics, barbecues and other outdoor occasions," Kooyman says. "We’re really proud to introduce Australia to our latest flavoursome creation and can’t wait to see the cans out and about this summer."
With innovation at the forefront, the award-winning business continues to break barriers whether it’s by producing bespoke drops or being the first brewing company to launch an equity crowdfunding campaign.
"We’re not thinking we’ll take over the world, but we’ll cover a part in the industry," Kooyman told The CEO Magazine. "I love the social aspect of the liquid and I want to try and enrich peoples’ lives. The beer industry pulls all that together."
