How you can own one of two A$12,000 bottles of this rare 35-year-old whisky
The auction is open to Australian residents only, bid now.
The Dalmore has released an incredibly limited number of its exceptional 35-year-old whisky – and only two exist in Australia.
Undergoing a complex maturation journey, the exceptional drop was seasoned through a variety of casks, making for a delicious, mouth-watering whisky.
Starting in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the liquid was then split and aged between three different casks; 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry cask, distillery run ex-bourbon barrel and colheita port pipe.
From there, the whisky was brought back together to mingle in first fill ex-bourbon barrels before the magical bottling process began.
"Flawless and refined, like the beauty of this Baccarat decanter, you will be truly blown away by the exceptional elegance of this special single malt," The Dalmore Master Distiller Richard Paterson says.
The Dalmore 35-year-old offers notes of coffee, liquorice, molasses, marmalade, chocolate cake, roasted chestnuts, mango drenched in aged port wine, and rich pineapple, making for a truly complex palate explosion.
Only 1,000 Baccarat crystal bottles have been filled with the precious liquid gold globally – and we are lucky enough to have one of the limited edition brews on offer at The CEO Magazine’s 2019 Executive of the Year Awards.
