Book a flight on Qatar Executive’s fleet of private jets

Qatar Airways is aiming to maximise its offering in the thriving private jet market as travellers seek to evade commercial flights and airports. The award-winning airline recently launched its exclusive Diamond Agreement, which lets business or private clients pre-purchase flight time on the Qatar Executive private fleet.

Designed to simplify private air travel, the all-inclusive flat hourly rate program offers guaranteed availability for reservations booked from 72 hours in advance. It has no minimum annual usage and it allows maximum carryover.

"We are truly delighted to launch our bespoke Diamond Agreement … tailored to suit the exact travel profile of both corporate and private clients," says Qatar Executive’s Acting Executive Vice President, Mark Hardman.

One of the highlights of the program is its ultimate flexibility. "We understand that as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, clients are looking for versatile, high-quality services from a reputable and financially secure operator," Hardman says.

"During these unprecedented times, travel requirements often change and, as such, our customers can rely on us for a bespoke service, with unused hours being refundable at any time."

Diamond Agreement plans are purchased in a minimum of 50 hours and are available across Qatar Executive’s fleet of private jets, including the Gulfstream G650ERs, Gulfstream G500s, Global 5000 aircraft and the forthcoming flagship Gulfstream jet, the G700.

The airline is also in the process of resuming its global routes. Qatar Airways has recently become the first international airline to restart flights to the Maldives.

The tropical destination joins several other popular summer hotspots to which Qatar Airways has recommenced flights, including Antalya and Bodrum in Turkey; Athens, Greece; Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar in Tanzania; and Tunis, Tunisia.

Qatar Airways is already operating regular services to Milan, Rome and Venice in Italy; Ankara and Istanbul in Turkey; and six cities in the US, among other popular routes.

It is one of the few global airlines that didn’t stop flying during the crisis and has continued to utilise its fleet of 30 Boeing 787 and 49 Airbus A350 aircraft.

Qatar Airways’ onboard safety measures include the requirement of personal protective equipment for employees and a complimentary protective kit with disposable face shields for travellers.

Business Class passengers on aircraft equipped with Qsuite can enjoy enhanced privacy with sliding doors and partitions, and a ‘Do Not Disturb’ indicator.

Additionally, the airline has extended its booking policies to offer more flexibility to its passengers. It will allow unlimited date changes and travellers can change their destination as often as they need, as long as it’s within 5,000 miles of the original end point.

By the end of July 2020, the airline’s network is set to expand to over 450 weekly flights to more than 70 destinations.
