Georg Chmiel

Georg Chmiel speaks about future growth, maintaining a competitive edge in a hostile industry, and his proudest moment since becoming CEO of LJ Hooker.

Georg Chmiel first joined LJ Hooker in 2010 as chief operating officer, before being appointed to the role of CEO in April 2012. The CEO Magazine recently sat down with Georg to discuss his advice to aspiring CEOs and the future of LJ Hooker.

"The lesson I've picked up from former CEOs and executives is to never stand still and relax, and to constantly challenge yourself. That’s pretty generic, but there is actually a lot to it. It’s not always that easy; it’s sometimes a bit painful".
