Craig Garvin reveals the changes he has implemented at Parmalat, his plans for future growth, and what sets the company apart from its competitors.
Over the past three and a half years, Craig has led with purpose and vision, imbuing his staff with pride in their work and positioning Parmalats brands as industry leaders. Renowned brands like Pauls, Vaalia, OAK, Breaka, and Ice Break have made Parmalat an influential player in the dairy industry with a turnover of around $1.35 billion.
To transform Parmalat, Craig used his strong, fast-moving consumer goods experience from Campbell Arnotts, Lion Nathan, and PepsiCo, as well as the lessons he learned from the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
Craig recently sat down with The CEO Magazine to discuss the radical changes Parmalat has seen and the team that made it possible. "When I joined the company, I needed to consider how you consolidate fewer, bigger, and better brands. To get a portfolio of winning brands, we had to make sure we were properly investing in and focusing on those brands". _
