Inside the Amber Lounge Fashion Show at the Monaco GP
Monaco’s spotlight was on the spectacular ‘Ice White’ themed fashion show on Friday night at Le Meridien Beach Plaza. The beachside charity fashion show featured stunning bridal and evening gowns by renowned celebrity designer Yolancris alongside chic menswear by Christopher Bates and swimwear by Lady Victoria Hervey’s Ladyship.
The prestigious event drew a huge crowd. There was a bevy of A-list celebrities and royalty, including HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, Victoria’s Secret model Josephine Skriver, actor Pamela Anderson with her boyfriend and footballer Adil Rami and son Brandon Lee, F1 drivers Freddie Hunt and Eddie Irvine and dancer Chachi Gonzales.
Formula 1 drivers left their competitive streak at the track for the iconic event. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc led the Amber Lounge Charity Fashion Show runway alongside fellow drivers George Russell (Williams), Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo), Esteban Gutierrez (Mercedes), Jack Aitken (Renault), Guanyu Zhou (Renault), Sergey Sirotkin (Renault) and Nicholas Latfi (Racing Point).
Alfa Romeo’s Tatiana Calderon made her debut on the Amber Lounge fashion runway this year, with the F1 ladies dressed in Yolancris. Funds raised during the live auction, for the third consecutive year, went to Sir Jackie Stewart’s Race Against Dementia foundation.
The glamorous afterparty launched with an ultra-high-energy set by world-renowned DJ Sigma while party guests enjoyed Arctic Blue Gin, an environmentally conscious, premium artisan gin made in Finland. The brand was represented on the night by founder and gin enthusiast Mikko Spoof and PR pro Janna Salokangas, founder of Playhouse Helsinki, whose mission is to shine the spotlight on Scandinavian sustainable brands making an impact.
