Network 10 CEO Paul Anderson takes on CEO Dare to Cure again

The CEO Magazine spent five minutes with Network 10 CEO Paul Anderson to talk about his involvement in CEO Dare to Cure this year. He's taking part for the second time to continue to support the Children's Cancer Institute‘s fight against childhood cancer.

Why are you taking part in CEO Dare to Cure this year?
I’m fortunate enough to be in a position to help this great initiative to raise awareness and funding in the aim to end childhood cancer.

What dare are you taking on?
The trapeze. It will be warmer than the ice bath challenge I did last year – twice!

Why do you think it’s important to support Children’s Cancer Institute?
Firstly, because this is a great cause with a deliberate target of reducing child cancer deaths to zero. We are all touched by cancer in some form or another in our lives so, when we have the chance to give back, particularly as it relates to children, it is an easy decision.

"Using the resources of Network 10 to spread the word and help raise funds is a great way to give back and be part of the community."

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve taken on, either personally or in business?
There are many corporate and physical challenges that I’ve taken on over the years, however, raising my three amazing children with my wife has been the most fulfilling (and quite often very challenging).

What’s your mantra for overcoming challenges?
My mantra has always been to control what you can control and don’t fret about the rest – and there is no substitute for hard work and a positive attitude.
