Top executives to celebrate British Chamber Commerce Annual Business Awards
The world has experienced some of its biggest business challenges in history following the coronavirus pandemic, but that won’t stop Singapore’s leading executives from celebrating the prestigious British Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards.
Returning for its 21st year, the annual awards will showcase the excellence of industry leaders across a number of sectors – and you could be one of them.
Singapore registered organisations have the opportunity to share their positive achievements and inspiring stories during one of the toughest business years in recent history.
For 2020, companies can enter in one or more of the following 10 categories: Business Transformation of the Year, Employer of the Year, Start-up of the Year, Individual Contribution of the Year, UK Exporter of the Year, Diversity & Inclusion Champion of the Year, Technological Impact of the Year, Sustainability Champion of the Year, Customer Service Provider of the Year and UK Impact in Singapore.
The longest-running awards initiative by an international Chamber in Singapore is guaranteed to be a night to remember.
Hosted at the Tower Ballroom at Shangri-La Hotel, the awards will attract hundreds of senior representatives and C-suite professionals from the country’s leading enterprises, making for an esteemed networking opportunity.
"It’s undoubtedly a reflection of the longstanding resilience and multifaceted partnership we have between the UK and Singapore." – S Iswaran
During a three-course meal, on-stage entertainment will take place including a speech by Richard Warburton, President of British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, as well as the announcement of winners, which will be presented by the BCC’s Sharanjit Leyl.
"We’ve had this award for 20 years and I think it’s undoubtedly a reflection of the longstanding resilience and multifaceted partnership we have between the UK and Singapore," S Iswaran, Minister for Communications & Information and Minister in Charge of Trade Relations, said at the event last year. "I look forward to enduring UK-Singapore business ties in the years ahead."
While companies don’t have to be a member of the Chamber, applicants do have to be a Singapore registered enterprise.
The awards, with which The CEO Magazine is a proud media partner, will take place during the Gala Dinner on 29 October 2020 (subject to COVID-19 change). However, entries close on 5 June 2020.
Partnering with the British Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards are Prudential, Barclays, Jardine Cycle & Carriage and AsiaWorks.
To enter the Annual Awards, visit the British Chamber’s event website before 5 June 2020.
